How scoring works

Predict before each match kicks off. In the group stage the higher tier replaces the lower one; in the knockouts the points add up.

Group stage

5
Correct result
You called the win, draw or loss - but not the exact score.
10
Exact score
You nailed the scoreline (e.g. predicted 2-1, it finished 2-1).

Knockouts

+5
Correct winner
Right team through - whether it’s won in 90 minutes, extra time or penalties.
+5
Correct decider
You also called how it ends: 90 minutes, extra time, or a penalty shootout.
+20
+ Exact score
The exact pre-shootout scoreline, when your decider is right too: +10 in 90 minutes, +15 in extra time, +20 before penalties.

The points add up, so a perfect call is worth 20 in 90 minutes, 25 in extra time, or 30 if it goes to penalties. Get the winner wrong and the match scores nothing. For shootouts the “exact score” is the level scoreline at the end of extra time (e.g. 1-1).

The rules of play

  • • Each match locks the moment it kicks off. Edit your pick freely until then.
  • • Knockout matches open for predictions once that round’s teams are confirmed.
  • • Ties on the leaderboard break on most exact-score hits, then who submitted earliest.
  • • Just for fun - no money, bragging rights only.
